
Bajaj Auto is the second largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India and in South Asia. It was founded in 1945 and is part of the Bajaj Group (which was originally founded in 1926). The company made its name by introducing Chetak – one of the most successful scooters in the history. Bajaj introduced its first motorcycle in 1986 in collaboration with Kawasaki of Japan. Currently, Bajaj has a technology tie-up with KTM of Austria since 2007.
